Off the coast of Maui, the largest turtle in the world can be found peacefully gliding among the rocks. The green Hawaiian sea turtle makes itself available to curious humans, and that one can come so close to such a large creature in the middle of the Pacific is a source of amazement. Except for the last two, the photos follow a temporal sequence that lasted seven minutes. The Haikus, told from the point of view the turtle, engage us with the animal's rhythms.
