Résumé

"I'm Going to Make You Believe Me."A husband murders his wife. A retiring judge, weary and skeptical, presides over the final case of his career. A relentless prosecutor, armed with overwhelming evidence, is certain of victory. A dogged defense attorney risks her career-and reputation-to prove the husband's innocence. The trial captures the nation, drawing the eyes of the public and the press. But beneath the legal battle lies something far more chilling.
At the center of it all: a ghost story. An anthological tale that pulls you deeper into the mysteries, wonder, and horror of the American Lore series. A Strange Reckoning is Coming. For fans of The X-Files, the real-world hauntings of Ed and Lorraine Warren, and the gripping suspense of Stephen King-prepare for a one-of-a-kind paranormal mystery that will keep you questioning until the final page.
I love storytelling. I am obsessed with it and have dedicated my life to becoming a professional, a master in the world's oldest craft. Horror, contemporary fantasy, and sci-fi are genres that have spoken to me since I was a child. Jules Verne, H. G. Wells, Mary Shelley, and even R. L. Stein are the authors that infected me with the craft since I was a boy. With Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, Dean Koontz, Dan Brown, and Max Brooks influenced me as an adult. My experiences as a police officer in Savannah, Ga, a deck officer with Disney Cruise Lines, and sales and marketing with Tesla have not only contributed to growing my skills in writing but gave me inspiration for some truly creepy stories (Trust me, working behind the scenes for Disney gives you some good inspiration for horror.)
