Biographie de Hanan Kattan

Hanan is the award-winning producer of four feature films through her company Enlightenment Productions and founder of Summit Bespoke, focused on highly curated and risk-reduced investments. She is also the author of acclaimed marketing book 'Grow Your Profits'. Her first two feature films garnered 35 awards internationally and were followed by a documentary, The House of Tomorrow, inspired by the TEDxHolyLand conference that Hanan co-curated in Jerusalem.
Hanan's latest feature film is Despite the Falling Snow, currently in post-production and set for 2015 release. A lifetime entrepreneur of Palestinian background, Hanan has spoken at conferences such as The British Business Show, DLDWomen, TEDx TelAviv and TEDx Holyland, as well as film panels at BAFTA and the BFI. She received the 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year award from Kingston Business Awards and is shortlisted for 4 more awards this year including the prestigious Breaking the Mould awards.
The Sarif-Kattan Foundation was recently set up to support women and children, by way of donations, but also through film screenings and events. Initial events have included a BAFTA screening of The World Unseen in aid of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, as well as TEDxHolyLand, an initiative to bring Palestinian and Israeli women together in Jerusalem.
