Résumé

A viral pandemic. Cities in lockdown. Humankind hopelessly divided into warring factions. Guns in the streets and every man for himself. In the third episode of Green Class, the stakes have gotten even higher. Still trapped in the post-apocalyptic hell-swamp of Louisiana, our band of young Canadians finds itself neck-deep in something far murkier and beyond mere science when the teens stumble across the true source of the rampant plant zombies besetting them: a book called the Necronomicon.
With secret experiments to open an interdimensional portal to the elder gods, the end times take on a whole new dimension, calling to mind the uncanny worlds of Lovecraft.

À propos des auteurs

Following his studies at an American university and at business school, French author Jérôme Hamon began his professional life in New York as a financial analyst. Convinced that the life he wanted was elsewhere, he left the field two years later to travel around the world. Back in France, Hamon strung together a number of jobs in the movies, video games, and television. In parallel, he began to write his first comic book and graphic novel scripts.
In 2008, Hamon went to Angouleme to present his first completed scripts, and it was there that he met artist Marc Van Straceele. The two would go on to collaborate on "Yokozuna, " a graphic novel on sumo wrestling in Japan (Kana, 2013). Following that, Hamon worked with artist Antoine Carrion on "Nils, " a saga halfway between Nordic mythology and the works of Miyazaki (Soleil, 2016). He then followed with "Emma & Capucine, " a series for younger readers centered on the worlds of classical dance and hip-hop (Dargaud 2017, Europe Comics in English 2018), and "Mitsuo, " alongside Cédric Babouche (Le Lombard, 2018).
His recent work also includes the action-packed series "Green Class, " alongside artist David Tako (Le Lombard; Europe Comics in English). David Tako is a French artist from Paris. He grew up loving cartoons, comics, manga, and video games, and he developed a strong interest for Japan and its culture. His art is inspired by the likes of Satoshi Kon, Naoki Urasawa, Glen Keane, Humberto Ramos, Alessandro Barbucci, Sean Murphy, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, and Toshihiro Kawamoto.
After studying 3D animation, he became an illustrator and character designer for the animation project "Tephlon Funk!". He entered the world of Franco-Belgian comics in 2017 with a short story about the legendary Marsupilami, alongside writer Jérôme Hamon. The pair then went on to collaborate on the sci-fi thriller "Green Class" (Le Lombard, Europe Comics in English), which follows six friends as they try to survive a catastrophic virus outbreak in the American south.
