Greater Good. Return to Rehnor, #2

Admiral Liam Fields of the Allied Spaceforce Command has a lot on his plate at the moment.  His only daughter, Captain Casey Fields is refusing to return the starship she's in command of.  Instead, she's letting this very strange alien guy, who she claims she's married to by the way, repair the damage which Liam's ex-wife and her cohorts caused.  Unfortunately, the repairs are taking place in an unauthorized Spaceforce facility and although the alien is paying for it all, he's also changing systems including the AI.  If Liam didn't have a drinking problem before, which incidentally, he did, he'd certainly be under the table now.
  In the meantime, Casey isn't sure where her husband, Mish came from, or how or when they even became a couple.  This was probably due to the gun shot wound to her head, which in theory, erased her memories.  But maybe not, because there's also those four kids who Mish claims are their grandchildren.  Casey's brother, Ted, is also trying to recall who he is and why he's here, especially since he can't recall anything or anybody, including his sister, before last week.  He's pretty sure he didn't get shot in the head, though.  What's even stranger is that neither his mother or his father can hear or see him.
