It seemed that this would be just another ordinary Christmas and New Year's season of giving and nice wishes, but then a series of frightening events begins to unfold. A large number of children start to disappear in a very strange way. Driven by great love and personal motives, Granny Advent sets out on a quest to bring home the lost children. Little does she suspect the numerous adventures that await her and how much this exciting mission will change her as well.
In her endeavor, she faces numerous villains tied to Christmas myths and legends, who instead of bringing gifts, bring fear and dread. There's Father Whipper, the Christmas Scarecrow, the Black Knight, Frau Perchta, and finally the great and terrifying Krampus - a lineup of villains that would make any horror story or film proud. Unexpected allies come to Granny Advent's aid, ones we may have heard of before, but they present themselves in a completely new light in this story.
The beautiful spy and warrior Snowmaiden, who is also Grandfather Frost's granddaughter, the brave mercenary Nutcracker, and the mysterious Peter the Dutchman will help the main heroine face the forces of evil. While Santa Claus is busy filming commercials for a popular brand of soft drinks, Granny Advent and her brave crew gain an ally whose existence will be difficult to comprehend even for them. A slightly different Christmas story. Advent has never been more exciting.
