Résumé

Standing at the edge of a world that's loud, messy, and mine to figure out. I could be flipping burgers in a buzzing city diner, dodging honks and rent hikes, or kicking dust in a small town, where the quiet feels both safe and suffocating. Either way, I'm just starting- diploma in hand, head full of dreams, but a heart heavy with "where do I even begin?" Life's a blur of late shifts, group chats, and scrolling feeds that make everyone else look like they've got it solved.
I want to build something-maybe a business, maybe a life that matters-help people, stack some cash, find my spot. But right now, I'm wading through quicksand, and it's a lot. The struggles hit hard. Money's tight-paychecks vanish on gas, snacks, or splitting bills with roommates who flake. Everyone's got advice-parents push college, friends flex side hustles, teachers preach trades, and TikTok screams crypto riches-but it's noise, not a map.
I feel stuck sometimes, like I'm late to a race I didn't sign up for. Setbacks sting: a job fizzles, a phone bill guts my savings, or I just crash after a 10-hour shift, wondering if I'm going nowhere. Doubt's a shadow-am I enough? Can I do this? The pressure to "make it" at 18 is a weight I carry alone some nights, even if I don't say it out loud. But I've got a blueprint-small steps and habits I'm starting now, brick by brick.
This is my start-small, messy, mine. I'm not there yet, but these habits are my roots, growing quiet but strong. They'll carry me-maybe to a coffee cart, a lawn crew, a space that's all my own-because I'm building, not just dreaming. It's tough, but I'm tougher, and I'm on it, one step at a time.
