Jessie Graham Flower (également connue sous le nom de Josephien Chase), était une autrice américaine prolifique, surtout connue pour sa contribution au genre de la littérature jeunesse au début du 20e siècle. Née le 16 septembre 1883, elle débuté sa carrière littéraire en tant qu'écrivaine pour des magazines populaires de l'époque, avant de se consacrer à l'écriture de livres pour enfants et adolescents. Son oeuvre la plus célèbre est la série Grace Harlowe, qui a connu un grand succès auprès du public.
