Résumé
Zack's weekend was a huge disappointment and he just can't bring himself to be cheerful when Monday morning rolls around. He got stood up for a date on Saturday night with the worst excuse he's ever heard - the guy claimed to have gotten stuck in an elevator. Normally Zack wouldn't get so bent out of shape, but it was supposed to be the date to break a long dry spell, and well, he'd gotten kind of excited which made the disappointment worse.
Now he's going to be late for work because the elevator in his apartment building always takes forever - the irony - and the second he steps into it he realises the guy standing there, who he'll be riding with for 24 floors, looks awfully familiar. It's Jono, the guy who stood him up. Great. What else could go wrong? wonders Zack. He hasn't even made it outside yet, and already nothing is going right.
