Phillip Manning is a 2010 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, where he began cultivating his passion for storytelling after reading The Epic of Gilgamesh. That ancient tale of gods, monsters, and friendship opened the door to a lifelong love of myth, fantasy, and the power of words. When he's not writing, Phillip is diving into the rich worlds of comics, science fiction, and fantasy, or exploring the chaotic brilliance of the Borderlands video game series.
