Katherine McKinley thinks she has just landed a dream job as a recent college graduate: the concierge at the hotel Ginger Blue. Despite its haunted reputation, Katie had never believed in ghosts. But while she is there, unexplained things start to happen. Her computer randomly turns on and off. Her files get misplaced. Her things go missing. And Katherine keeps having dreams about a man-a very handsome man.
Convinced by her manager and friend to learn more, Katherine works with the renowned medium Madame Rhiamon to unlock her gift as a potential psychic. And that's where Katherine learns that all the strange things that have been happening are a spirit-the same handsome man from her dreams-trying to communicate with her. She discovers he is someone she knew in a past life. But soon the two are separated, and Katherine must decide if she should try to find him, or if she should move on with her life and always wonder what could have been.
