Ellison Blackburn lives with some of her favorite beings in beautiful Seattle, Washington. An early interest in the soft sciences, together with a career in information technology, ignited Ellison's curiosity in singularities many years ago. Most intriguing is the ever-present line-toeing between humanity and advancement, between who we are and what we will do in the name of progress. Thus, Ellison combines speculative ideas in her stories-because singularities do not manifest in an orderly fashion IRL.
Among her published stories are Flash Back, book one of The Fountain bioengineering trilogy; If There Be Giants, book one of The Watchers fantasy duology; An Untimely End, the first book in the time-travel, mystery series the Windy City Files; and the dystopian, cyberpunk novella Virtue Us, the Future of Love.
