Excerpt from 'From Player to Coach'When I first went to Seattle my intentions were to try to establish myself as a player and to play for as long as possible. Going into the second season I could see that soccer was on the up and that the club were very much into promoting both the Sounders and Soccer. This was my first taste of coaching and making public appearances, fortunately through John Best and Jimmy Gabriel I had two great role models.
