Born and raised in Kansas City, I am the youngest of four siblings, with one older sister and two older brothers. I now live in Denver with my husband, where I am actively involved in my church community. I went down some dark roads before I found God. I was drinking heavy, smoking, and living recklessly. Depression had me stuck, and no matter how much I tried to party it away, the pain always came back. I didn't see no way out, and most days I didn't even care if I made it through.
