The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.'"This translation and short concise explanation of the Quran is based on the Qur'aan Made Easy and the Noble Quran, which are themselves based on the explanation of At-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, Jalaalayn, and Ibn Kathir with comments from Sahih Al-Bukhari.
