Résumé

During the final season of the pandemic, I had received my dream job of DJing in the entertainment industry. The dream job, however, would take place inside the adult entertainment industry. The horrors of the opioid crisis in that venue would vastly outweigh the chaos of current events at the time. While these events were the experiences that made me want to write this book, I also explore a myriad of other life experiences: being hit by a van at the age of eight, diagnosed with epilepsy at seventeen, and the chaotic mirthful experiences of the entertainment industry that would ultimately lead to my DJ career.
I have also included within my thesis a series of thought experiments centred on recent and current events, starting with the G20 summit protests in Toronto of 2010, the 2012 phenomenon, climate change, and the pandemic, just to name a few. The crisis in my life, as well as the aforementioned shared experiences of many, make for a relatable and compelling read to anyone from any walk of life. It is the values found in this book that I hope will make for the difference of tomorrow.
