Christine Rossouw, fire investigation officer was quite resolved with the fact that she was still single, and had no intention of changing that. Not even when she ran into the handsome Jarod Marks, a fire fighter, at church, the last place she ever thought to meet a man. But when tragedy strikes, she soon learns that there is more to life than preconceived ideas with meaningless outcomes. Jarod Marks has finally gotten over his wife's betrayal, but he refused point blank to get involved again.
This all changes when Pastor Rossouw introduces his daughter to him.
