Résumé

Flossie Bonce is a fairy with a kind heart who helps Father Christmas deliver all his parcels. But why is she putting a PARSNIP in all the stockings? Find out what the daft fairy does to put things right and what the children find on Christmas morning. This humorous Christmas book is for children ages 3-6. It's a picture book, with colourful illustrations on each page that any child will enjoy. If you need a little something for the holidays and celebrations, whether Christmas, fall or winter, this book is recommended.
Ages 3+, 34 pages, full colour picture book. Q&As with the author:Q. What makes Flossie Bonce special?A. I wanted to write a Christmas story and Flossie Bonce just jumped into my head. She has such a loving character and always tries to do the right thing, even though her ideas often go a little awry. She a very special little fairy. Q. Why should I give your books a try?A. I have been an illustrator for nearly a zillion years (or so it feels!) and I LOVE drawing.
I always 'see' a book before I write it, and you will know what I mean when you have a look at my books. I am also intensely interested in education - so I always slip a sneaky way to learn things into my stories. My customers and reviews tell me how much they love my books, how 'each page is a smorgasbord, a real treat for little readers' and 'I could not wait to turn the pages and see the antics, marvellous illustrations.
This is a must read for all small people, and their grandparents.'Q. Do you have other books?A. Yes - loads. Vincent and the VampiresRoyal FleasWally and Bert, BffsThe House on Hare HillBluebell's New SchoolThe Golden StoneNature CallsFidget
Jules Marriner was born in Buckinghamshire in the late 1960's, but has never let this hold her back. She started off training as a fashion designer, but soon discovered she was dreadful at this. After making sprout smoothies in Australia for 6 months, she studied at University for a Degree in Illustration and had an epiphany. Her passion is for Children's Books!! It was at Uni that she realised that she wanted to spend the days drawing animals doing unlikely things.
After a spell in London, she moved to the Isle of Wight which was much more animal friendly, what with all the Red Squirrels and Orang-Utans and started writing and illustrating books for children. Jules is currently under the supervision of two teenage children who are too smart for their own good, a nice husband who makes a great cup of tea and two small, naughty dogs who proof read all her written work.
