Flinch: A Collection of Short Stories

FLINCH is a collection of 9 short stories that deal with bizarre and occassional horrific themes. INTO THE DARKNESS is a story about a woman who is being tormented in her dreams by an unknown creature. UNIT 11 is a strange tale that takes place on a children's ward at the state asylum in the 1970's. THE HUSTLER is a short snippet about a young man trying to make his way through life by turning tricks but never realizing the dangers he could face.
A SUMMER OF CHANGE is about a teenage boy who finds a new friend to spend his summer days with ... a friend that isn't what he seems. LESSONS LEARNED shows a woman and her lover who plan to murder her husband during a violent hurricane. Things don't always go exactly as planned. WEEKEND GETAWAY is a story about Brian, who goes off on a boating trip for the weekend with his lifelong friend and other guests.
The party gets a little out of hand. DEAR DIARY is about a young woman's diary entries of her deranged world in the ditant future and what mankind has become. THE BEST DAY OF HIS LIFE is a tale of a man and his thoughts, sitting in a dark room waiting for absolution ... or not. TRAVELS is about an exhibit in a local museum where the visitors and museum attendant suddenly find themselves living in another place and time.
