Résumé

????? "Tessa Kelly has me hooked! The depth of her characters and the surprising twists kept me turning pages." - Vicki WSomething borrowed. Something blue. Someone's dead. When Sandie James steps in to help at her sister's cozy bakery, she expects a quiet few weeks. Instead, a wedding guest is found dead-and her father is at the scene. Now, Sandie must unravel secrets and outwit a killer in the charming brownstones of Carroll Gardens.
With the help of her loyal springer spaniel Marlowe, Sandie dives into a small-town murder mystery full of gossip, lovable characters, and an ending you won't see coming. Clean and captivating-no graphic violence, sex, or strong language. Perfect for fans of cozy mysteries with heart, humor, and a four-legged sidekick. A former teacher with a degree in French, Tessa spent several years living in an uptown Brooklyn neighborhood, frequenting its many cafes and coffee shops and getting to know it from the inside and out. During her undergraduate years, she has worked at a bakery just like the one depicted in her novel, where she developed a lifelong fondness for cheesecake brownies.  These days, when not writing, she loves to be outside exploring hiking trails, often wandering off the beaten path.
Her other passions include baking, learning foreign languages, and reading.
