Eventful War

This is Nick's new anti war poetry collection about World War Two. A very varied collection of work in several different poem styles like verse, rhyme and Haiku. There are poems on the machines of war like the Hurricane fighter, on the bomber plane, on U-Boats, and tanks. The men who did the fighting and those who sent them off to war are covered. Why would two brothers fight one another on opposing sides? Works also covers equipping the men for war, on the historical aspects of the battles, on spoofing the enemy, about the weapons like the bayonet, bullet types, guns and rape as a weapon of war.
The poems are intended to make the reader think. What is war? The work here covers opposing sides and much much more. A second volume will follow in future.
