Résumé

EUGAGER is a project proposal submitted to the EU in response to the ICT Call 4 under the7th Framework Programme in April 2009. It proposed the research, design and prototypeimplementation of a web-based, secure and free/open source software platform fore-Governance and e-Participation tools. In particular, the core system would support theconnection of external e-Government and e-Participation web applications, possibly runningon different machines, and an Open API for security, authentication and data exchangebetween applications.
The EUGAGER architecture would enable project stakeholders (Governments, SMEs, Non-ProfitOrganizations and existing Free/Open Source Communities) to evolve the platform by creatingnew applications (with different levels of user authentication requirements) and complete thedigital ecosystem for Citizen Engagement.* Read the submitted EU Project Proposal on how to create a Social Networking platform fore-Governance and e-Participation and engage citizens all around Europe;* Task list, workplan, deliverables, milestones and gantt-chart included!;* Learn why the European Union should adopt a common platform with social networkingcapabilities to deploy e-Gov applications and engage citizens in political activism;* Read the project's final evaluation issued by the European Commission, discover what'snext, and what you can do to make it real.
