EOYEOPPI

EOYEOPPI is a collection of essays and poems about looking at life, nature, and people with a warm and gentle heart. The word Eoyeoppi comes from an old Korean expression found in Hunminjeongeum, carrying a sense of tenderness, affection, and compassion. Chaedam brings that old sentiment into everyday life, finding meaning in ordinary moments: a flower blooming by the roadside, the sound of rain, a piece of music played on the daegeum, a journey, a shared smile, and a small act of kindness.
Written through seasons of both joy and difficulty, these pages do not try to teach the reader how to live.
