In chess, the study of game endings is recommended by many great players, including the famous former world champion Jose Raul Capablanca, as a way to broaden understanding of the game. As a young player, the author felt the benefits of this study in his own game, when he produced his notes based on positional analyses contained in classic books. His understanding of the game improved, as did his practical results.
This book reproduces the original notes revised with the help of modern chess machines, notably Stockfish, which in some cases have provided new solutions to the positions.
