Fin Morningstar's interest in writing stems from his love of reading. Folks may be surprised but science fiction novels are what excites him most. It all started back in the summer of 1999 when he read War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells in Minneapolis. Since then he's read many different science fiction stories with a particular fondness for the John Carter of Mars (Barsoom) series and the other Sword & Planet stories. These days, he's committed to reading the Magic, the Gathering novel series which he expects not to finish for many years.
His stories are much more in line with the Sword & Planet science fiction books he's read in the past but within a fantasy setting instead. His focus is on producing Low Fantasy stories emphasizing action sequences.
