Résumé
Lennon is an 18-year-old freshman in college who just moved from outside of Seattle, Washington all the way to San Francisco, California. She just got accepted into the art institute that she had wanted to go to since she was a little girl. After a big tragedy that befell her family, Lennon is looking for a fresh start in life. Ryder is a 22-year-old senior at the San Francisco Art Institute. He moved from the UK at the age of 18 after he lost his mother to addiction.
His father, a successful businessman is friends with the dean of the institute and some major donors, which makes Ryder act as if he is untouchable on campus. When these characters' worlds collide, a rollercoaster of emotions erupts from the moment they lay eyes on each other. Lennon and Ryder are polar opposites, but something about one another makes them stick like magnets, which can sometimes be destructive for everyone around them.
Will they sink or swim as they try to run from their pasts? Together or apart? One thing they both have learned throughout all of this is when the world is too loud, you have to Drown It Out. 298 pages long, this is book one of the Drown It Out Series.
