In 2025 a coronal mass ejection licked from the sun to the orbit of earth, destroying most life in fires, flood, snow and then ice... recovery is slow. In 2043 the post-apocalyptic world is ravaged by sweeping sand and dust, Elizabeth Baker has found a means of escaping the sandbox with enough credit to live well. Working for Oliver S. Trenton as scribe and office cleaner she intends making the well-paid position hers permanently.
Though the man runs a world spanning company, Liz has no idea what other mysterious projects he works on day after day in his library/museum/office.
