Dreams of Good and Evil

The Guardian, an Angel StoryHolding it back took great effort, but this fallen would not destroy him. Their wing armor made loud clangs as their wings crashed into each other with powerful hits - for a moment the outcome of the battle was not obvious. Then, suddenly with a fluid movement, Braithius pushed the demon back and, pulling his sword, he sliced up ad down several times. Each swing of the holy steel was seen as a bright line of light that flashed through the darkness.
The dark creature fell and dissolved into nothing. ShredI closed the door behind me. The room was almost completely dark and smelled of rot. Thankfully, I had changed the filter in my mask. I checked the dial on my air mix. The only light that dared enter the room came through small finger holes in the stained curtain hanging over the large window. As I took a step, I felt a crunch. I looked down; beneath the scattered grbage and clothing, the floor was covered in dead insects.
I had never been here before, but the scene was all too familiar. I scanned the room, then quickly crossed the space. My senses tingled with excitement. Could I have finally made it? Could it really be here? Anticipation made my heartbeart faster.
