Twenty years ago, Lee-Kall and the City Guard fought off a dragon to save their people. But the horrors they witnessed did not leave with that dragon. Now, Lee-Kall must once again hunt a dragon. However, capturing the beast is the least of her challenges. Getting it back to the King while thousands of young dragons hunt down her team, fighting through a foreign land where everything around them is ravenous, and dealing with her own lingering trauma mark only the beginning of their troubles.
