Dominion

In the distant future, humanity has settled on many worlds amongst the stars. A new human dominion. But each colony staunchly protects its independence and has no communication with any other colony. Only the Traders, an independent colony in its own right, visits and services these isolated communities. On Jova, farm girl, Ayda Geller has her world turned upside down when mysterious alien creatures destroy her colony.
These creatures continue to invade other colonies and it seems nothing can stop them. The human dominion faces annihilation and Ayda is thrust into a war she never wanted nor understood.
