Ted is a lithe, shy man around the ladies, but a star performer at work. Trying to find a girlfriend is difficult at best for Ted, being the type of guy who need very little work. In private, Ted is a crossdresser. From time to time, he attends private parties. A few weeks ago, Ted stumbled onto a new type of doll suit that gives the wearer a more realistic appearance. One that allows him to pass without makeup. The doll suit is made from a space-age polymer designed for individuals who work in extremely hot or cold environments yet looks just like real skin.
Once wearing the doll suit, Ted becomes Tessa the woman always living inside of Ted but unable to come out due to the adverse effects it would have on Ted's life. Tessa slowly comes out with trips wearing the doll suit down to get Ted's mail and then to the local market. One day, Ted decides to sleep in and go to lunch; the center of a person's spiritual and temporal day. When Ted or rather Tessa wake up, they find themselves in a strange new place with other sisters away from the trappings of daily life.
