Résumé
Divorce hurts to the very core of a person's being but we hardly hear about this pain in our society- even in the church. Some people don't make it literally and metaphorically after they have been through divorce. Some have lost their mental faculties during and after divorce. Some died figuratively from broken heart. I started an organisation divorce on my terms in 2013 with the intention of bringing awareness and highlighting the pain of divorce as well as providing support to divorcees, especially in the body of Christ.
I started writing this book around 2013 whilst going through divorce. It has been cathartic going through all the many buried phases and experiences in my life that had shaped me to be the woman I am today. I cried, I sobbed, I mourned and wanted to just care for the little girl living on the inside of me who has been through so much pain and trauma but is still here purely by the grace of God. With the help of Christ, I have managed to sail through the pain of divorce and reaching back to hopefully provide support to someone going through same. I pray and hope that sharing my journey and how I made it to the other side, will encourage a divorcee to seek help and not suffer in silence, like many do. I pray that you thrive and come out stronger and better even after going through this painful process, called Divorce.
