When children's entertainer Kari Ferguson is found dead beneath a banquet table in Thaulow Hollow, the Dionysia Theatre's summer production suddenly has a murder scene no director could have planned. Private investigator Olivia Henriksen has promised Torstein she will keep well away from his police case. Conveniently, she has a different commission: wealthy businessman Aaron Antonsen wants proof that his wife, Kristine, is having an affair.
