Dr. Frank Schäfer, geb. 1980 in Menden (Sauerland), hat Germanistik und Philosophie an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster studiert. Seit 2008 ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am dortigen Germanistischen Institut.

Eine detaillierte Einführung resümiert die Forschungs- und Editionsgeschichte und zeigt den Modifikationsbedarf des Überlieferungsstemmas auf.
