Résumé
Life itself is a grand IMBIK (distillery). At times, it distils the very things we swore we could "never do, " while at others, it refines the behaviours we resolve to "never repeat". Whether we will it or not, our words, actions, and deeds are distilled within the crucible of life. For instance, as someone who once declared, "I could never teach", I ended up teaching for 15 years across 21 different schools, reaching nearly 10, 000 students.
In the process of supposedly teaching a foreign language, I learned from life-and from the pure, untainted worlds of my students-never to say "never", and to embrace unconditional, selfless love without expecting anything in return. I felt myself purified and matured by these clear, heartfelt emotions. I experienced firsthand that the process of learning continues throughout life. I also realised that one cannot truly become HUMAN without loving another person genuinely and without conditions.
Throughout this journey, I have strived to share these insights with my family, my surroundings, and especially my children. Up to this point, I have lived through everything a human might encounter, with one distinction: I took the time to reflect on my experiences, emotions, and thoughts, drawing lessons and notes from them. Now, I pass these lessons and notes through the filter of my 40th year to share with you.
I hope you find some benefit and pleasure in this IMBIK.
