When a violent raid on a Satanic cult in the neighboring city of Swanford sets in motion a sinister conspiracy, an estranged group of goth misfits, known as the Vampire KIds by the local townspeople, and a swamped detective are drawn into the fray. But the evil they're chasing, whilst seeking answers to their infinite questions, isn't in the darkness they fear. It's been simultaneously within the church and above, waiting to strike God's flock. For He has abandoned them.
Now, the thing that took His place will show no mercy.
