Dejanna of the Double Star

Dejanna, the great granddaughter of her planet's most beautiful woman and her world's Earth-born Overlord, is kidnapped by a rejected suitor. Pregnant, she is stranded alone in the wilderness with only her wits to save her from the planet's savage beasts and nomadic barbarians. While she seeks safety, her husband searches for his wife and unborn child. Their quests put them both on a collision course with the most dangerous and warlike creatures on the planet - the save Sarapou tribe of Zirkas, a race of gigantic and sentient insectoid savages whose thirst for power and blood is never satisfied. Dejanna must overcome her privileged upbringing and embrace the warrior blood that is her birthright, take sword in hand, and fight her way across the uncharted swamplands.
