Land deeds don't match. County officials have looked the other way. And somewhere beneath the limestone and red clay lies evidence of a secret that powerful people have spent forty years trying to keep buried. Now Jesse's disappearance has reopened the past. And Luke is running out of time to find his brother before the people responsible erase the last evidence-and anyone standing in their way. Some tracks disappear in the river mud.
