As a highly specialized Military Working Dog handler, he completed multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, supporting high-risk direct action and counterterrorism missions alongside elite K9 partners. After leaving the Teams, Daniel turned to writing, drawing on his real-world experiences to create authentic military thrillers that explore themes of loyalty, sacrifice, resilience, and justice.
