Résumé

During the last days on Earth, the Bible speaks of perilous times to come.  However, what might it be like for Christians before the Rapture occurs?  What might they face before those last seven years?  Matthew 24 speaks of "wars and rumors of wars, " ".famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places."  Verse 37 says, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."  Could we be seeing signs of the end today?  This reality in today's world draws us closer to Jesus Christ's return. Although inspired by this reality, this book is a work of fiction.  Joel Cohen gets a head start on his newscasting career when a mysterious city appears over their small town in Indiana.  He will do anything to protect his girlfriend and family.  However, when an ancient enemy attacks using forces beyond his control, their lives are all in peril.  Desolation sends them back to their homeland in Israel, the heart of prophetic events affecting the world.  Will Joel's family uncover the roots of the war being waged against them and get saved before the days of delusion take hold? Inspired by a pointed passage in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. *Book Length:  38 chapters; 115, 249 words.*All images were generated with Midjourney.*Target audience:  Recommended for teens and adults.
