Résumé

When she was seventeen, Annie wanted nothing more than to marry her high school boyfriend and travel the country with his band. Then she met legendary British rock guitarist Mick Saunders, known to his contemporaries and fans simply as "God." Just when Annie believes she has everything figured out, fate intervenes and makes the decisions for her. Years later, an older and sort-of wiser Annie plays chaperon to the Phil Klein Rock School All-Stars, starring her two teenagers.
Fate meddles once more by placing the fledgling musicians on the same bill with an older, still-beatific Mick Saunders. To Annie, God only seems to have gotten better. Luckily, or perhaps not, Mick hasn't forgotten her, and he offers a romantic diversion from her band mother duties...and her stagnant marriage. Does Annie have a prayer?
