Résumé
This book is largely a scene setting introduction for the ones that follow and covers a time when the house where the CREATURES OF THE WILDERNESS live, changes hands. This results in the creatures' lives being turned upside down, because the new owners of the property decide to redesign the garden and tidy it up (threatening the creatures very existence). Fortunately for the creatures involved, Mr Green and Bernie Beetle join forces in an effort to stop the garden being cleared.
Being the third book in the CREATURES OF THE WILDERNESS series, this book along with the others in this series, has been designed to teach children about life issues, their personal safety and the environment, using both human and animal characters such as Bernie Beetle and Mr Green the gardener as role models. This particular book has been purposely designed to show children and others just how much of an impact the redevelopment of land can have upon local wildlife.
