Ian Burdon lives and writes in Scotland, north of the Pentland Hills, south of the Firth of Forth.
His first published story was in 2017 and his first collection of linked short stories, Coyote in the Corner, was published in October 2021.
However hard he tries, his stories tend to emerge cross-genre with a bias towards the weird, and occasionally dark.

Résumé
You think vampires hide in darkness and nightmares, but they're real and live with us in the daylight, hiding in plain sight. They don't even need to farm us anymore, we're so wasteful of our young. But now human surveillance technology and climate change threaten vampire's security and habitat, and they have to act to save themselves. Coyote in the Corner: the Halloween stories you didn't know you needed.
Eleven linked tales that whisper in the night, brushing against the window, trickling behind the walls of memory. Content warning (abuse) for opening story 'A Kindness'.
