Résumé
Designed by a 6 year old girl! With her love of dolls, (and her fondness of cotton candy), she's now into designing doll fashions in luscious cotton candy colors, with yarn in a fuzzy texture of cotton candy! We thought it would be fun to take her designs and put them into patterns for all to use. She was very pleased at the results! This is a 2 piece dress, that most all little girls will find easy for dressing their dolls.
The patterns are easy to follow, and we have several color variations for suggestions. Also included are directions to turn this into a wonderful Holiday/Christmas Dress! There is a cuter than ever "pico" type headband too! As a bonus, we've included a purse pattern as well. Directions to make the pretend "cotton candy" also included. We used a brushed, fuzzy type worsted weight yarn and also a sparkle type sport weight yarn for trim.
There is embellish with a front bow, and pearl type buttons for back of the top. This is a great pattern to dress up with any trims and ribbons as you wish! Let's all hear it for Anie, our youngest dress designer at Frugal Knitting Haus! One of Anie's grandmas makes cotton candy for summer fairs. It is the best around. It is no wonder she chose the cotton candy theme for this cute ensemble. Proceeds from this pattern are going toward Anie's education fund.
