So I plunged the depths of my sordid imagination to come up with this peculiar little 90 minute short read of love, bittersweet decisions, and redemption... I hope you like it. My family didn't. I'm not even sure that I like it that much myself actually. But it was cathartic, and I wrote the darn thing, wasted hours of my life on it, so I thought I'd better put it out there. This is for every woman who maybe, like me, struggles a little bit with fitting in, struggles a little bit with emotions, with relationships, with anxiety, maybe even with executive function...
Like me, our protagonist Meg has Autism, what's your excuse? :)This isn't really a funny story, it's sad at times, if I'm honest. But hopeful too, and a little bit sexy... Life goes on, after all!Sometimes as women in love we have to face tough decisions- the consequences of which we have to learn to make peace with afterwards, and learn to move forwards to become, hopefully, a wiser person in the long run.
But I'll not give anything else away, it's only a 90 minute short read - just read the wretched thing and you'll find out!:)Seriously though, I really do appreciate anyone who does me the honour of reading, and hopefully honestly reviewing, my first little piece of fiction.
