Résumé

The title of this book, Colors of the Deep, is symbolic. "Deep" here refer not only to the awe-inspiring sight of gazing into an abyss of water but also to the hidden wonders beneath the shimmering surface of a shallow stream. The theme of colors is equally fascinating-physical laws dictate that as you descend, the color spectrum diminishes. Red disappears first, followed by orange, then yellow, until only blue remains; beyond that, everything is enveloped in blackness.
With a little imagination and a beam of light, one can become a creator of colors, revealing Neptune's stunning kingdom with the sweep of a flashlight. Humans are social creatures-we find joy in sharing our experiences. Modern technology allows us to do so not only with words but also by capturing vivid images. That is the spirit of this book: I share my diving experiences in Lithuania's rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans, illustrated by moments I have captured.
In some places, you will find link to a YouTube channel of the same name-allowing you not only to see the photographs but also to watch videos of the same episodes.
