It's gothic era in England, and the King wants his daughter, Princess Elizabeth to get married to a prince from the neighboring kingdom to continue the royal legacy and help strengthen the alliance between the kingdoms. But one night the princess sneaks out into the village market and there she meets a ruggedly handsome, charming, tall, fit, funny man named William. Elizabeth falls in love with him, but it would be forbidden and off limits for a princess to fall in love with a common man thats not royalty.
