Résumé

He has to make a career comeback. She has to give up on kismet. Simple, right?Single mom, Kristen Clausen decides there's no such thing as soul mates and declares "no more men." She's going to focus on her daughter, friends, and games of unicorn football. So, of course, actor Danny Linstead and his gorgeous, stressed-out body show up in her yoga class just hours later. The universe is funny that way.
Danny desperately needs this acting gig so he can pay back his mother and twin brother after losing all their money in an investment scam. But after months of radio silence from his family, and a difficult shoot in San Francisco, he's forgetting his lines. And the deep-pocket producer has noticed. Then Kristen is hired as a go-go dancer on the set of his show. As Danny gives his heart to Kristen and her daughter, the sleazy producer demands to "see more" of her, and for Danny to back off.
His threat comes from Kristen's past. But it is her future Danny must try to protect, and he's faced with an impossible choice that could lead to devastating consequences. Will Danny lose everything he desires?~ Slow burn, soul mates, forbidden lovers, single parent, medium heat level, with the occasional swear word ~
At the age of 11, I wrote my first book, about orphaned animals with names like "Bob Katt" and "Chip Monk." My parents took the original typed manuscript and had it bound into a book. I don't think I've stopped writing since. I majored in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University and wrote a personal column for a quarterly newsletter focusing on the entertainment industry for four years. My "That's Entertainment" series combines my love of pop culture with a story that takes the reader to another world for a few hours.
Although my day job as a non-profit fundraiser requires database geekery, I find writing a great deal more fun. Both my characters and I know that a pair of colorful cowboy boots can change your life. Plus, life is better with a little romance.
