Résumé

Dr. Vasiliki Bakali is no ordinary physicist. At thirty-four, she is already whispered as a future Nobel laureate. But when she discovers that the Battle of Kursk has inexplicably vanished from every archive, her world begins to unravel. A mysterious voice contacts her-K. Elvan-revealing that history is collapsing. Key events, called Chrono Anchors, are being erased by an unknown enemy. Vasiliki is drawn into the Time Guild, a secret organization hidden beneath the Alps.
There she meets her team: Elias, a haunted French-Algerian soldier; Halil, a Kurdish historian; Zafeira, a fierce negotiator; and Eos, a teenage hacker genius. Together, they travel through the ÆonGate, a time machine powered by zero-point energy and neural interfaces. Their missions force them into impossible choices. In Pompeii, 79 AD, they must let a city burn alive-because the eruption preserves Roman culture and prevents a greater catastrophe.
In Jerusalem, 33 AD, Vasiliki locks eyes with a man carrying a wooden cross. He sees her. And nods. In Constantinople, 1453, she orders her team to expose a weak gate, ensuring the Ottoman victory-and the slaughter of thousands. In Smyrna, 1922, she breaks protocol to save a single girl, Maria, adopting her as her own daughter. But the darkest mission comes in Berlin, 1945. The team must prevent an assassination of Adolf Hitler-because a premature death would prolong the war by years and cost 39 million more lives.
Vasiliki disarms a German officer who pleads with her, begging for an end to the nightmare. She cannot help him. As the missions progress, the team discovers they are not alone. A rogue faction-the Others-has been shadowing them, altering timelines with future technology. Their goal: to rebuild the world from its ashes under their control. The trail leads to Marathon (490 BCE), Vienna (1683), Tesla's Wardenclyffe Tower (1903), and finally to a hidden base beneath Mount Erebus, Antarctica (1892).
In the final battle beneath the ice, Vasiliki confronts the leader of the Others. He confesses: every atrocity they engineered-Smyrna, Constantinople, even the rise of fascism-was a calculated step to "reset" humanity. Before he can reveal more, he kills himself. Vasiliki returns home shattered. She resigns from the Time Guild, destroys her part of the technology, and adopts Maria. But one night, a portal opens in her study.
A young woman steps through."Come with me, Grandmother."The woman is her granddaughter-and also the mysterious K. Elvan who recruited her. From the future, she brings Vasiliki a medical breakthrough that will cure cancer and genetic diseases. She takes her to a world without nuclear war, where music plays directly inside the brain and healing gel replaces medicine. For the first time in years, Vasiliki laughs.
She dances. She lets go. The story ends with a whisper: Somewhere in time. the story isn't over yet. Chrono Anchors: The Weaver of Eternity is a novel about moral weight, the burden of knowledge, and the fierce love that survives even when history burns.
