Jennifer Ebert bewegt sich in Ihrer Dissertation »Christus praesens angesichts des Volkes Israel« an den Schnittstellen von Liturgie, Christologie und Israeltheologie. Die Arbeit untersucht theologische Ansätze einer nicht antijudaistischen Christologie, kirchliche Verlautbarungen zum Verhältnis von Kirche und Israel und aktuelle gottesdienstliche Praxis unter der Prämisse, dass Liturgie, Gebet und Credo ein implizites Glaubenswissen auch zur Haltung gegenüber dem Judentum maßgeblich prägen.
Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchungen reflektiert Ebert daraufhin systematisch-christologisch mit dem Ergebnis, dass in jedem Gottesdienst der Christus iudaeus praesens gefeiert wird. Ebert then reflects the results of the investigations systematically-christologically with the conclusion that in every service the Christus iudaeus praesens is celebrated.
